Official website of the Royal Horticultural Society - probably the leading horticultural authority in the country. There is a substantial section devoted to Biodiversity, which overlaps considerably with the subject of wildlife gardening.

Practically universally respected by the UK's army of gardeners, the influence which the RHS can wield to promote wildlife-friendly garden practices (or as they would put it, practices which promote biodiversity), could be immensely beneficial to wildlife in this country. The prominence given to the subject of garden biodiversity on their homepage, indicates the importance in which they regard the subject. Some useful information for wildlife gardeners on this site.
There's also a host of information on the site of interest to gardeners in general, including their Plant Finder which is a superb example of a useful web application: type in the name of a plant you want to buy (including natives) and, if it can be found in the database, you can see what nurseries you can buy it from. Try it; its excellent. There are similar finders for gardens and events too.
