New wildlife trail at Cambridge Botanic Gardens
Appeared on Space For Nature on June 12th 2003
Cambridge University Botanic gardens have marked environment week by inviting people to try their new wildlife trail.
The trail links together 10 'wildlife-friendly' areas in their 40 acre botanic gardens in the centre of Cambridge. Throughout the Environment Week (which ends on Sunday 15th June), the public will be able to use the trail to see how the needs of wildlife and horticulture can be met using techniques which reduce the need for pesticides and herbicides. The gardens are open from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. during the summer.
