New money for Southend wildlife garden
Appeared on Space For Nature on June 26th 2003
Southchurch Park Wildlife Garden in Southend, Essex will benefit from money donated by the Cory Environmental Trust.
Southchurch Park is a 12.5 hectare site run and maintained by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. Part of the site is given over to a 'wildlife garden' with the aim of demonstrating, to members of the public, which ornamental plants can be used to benefit wildlife in the garden. Cory Environmental Trust, a major UK environmental waste management company, has donated money which will be used to give the wildlife garden a 'makeover'.
